The long awaited VIBE OPTISOUND Mercedes speaker upgrade range is nearly here!
Landing late summer 2022.The Mercedes upgrades will cover a variety of vehicles in the C Class, E Class, S Class and GLC models. We have spent a considerable time developing these speakers to our very own sound.
Our custom tooled magnet housing allowed us to use a larger Neodymium magnet. This provides more motorforce and control over the speakers and subwoofers. The speakers themselves are made from a composite fibre and paper cone. It’s stiff but lightweight with fantastic dampening properties. This paired with the Neo motor make for a beautiful sound profile.
The options we present are:
A 4″ component system which features direct fit mounting baskets as well as a plug and play cable for direct installation.
A 4″ rear coaxial option which features the same basket and plug connections and 8″ subwoofer upgrade.
The Subwoofer Upgrade will be available in RHD and LHD and features direct fit baskets with plug and play cabling. The woofers come as a pair which will give a significant upgrade to any Mercedes. As standard most come with just a single subwoofer in the footwells.
These upgrades are perfect paired with OUR POWERBOX65.4M plug and play amplifier and for that extra umph the subwoofers can be directly wired to a POWERBOX400.1M. For an even better enhancement to the sound, the VIBE OPTISOUND Mercedes speaker range are a perfect OEM plug and play upgrade.
VIBE introduces 3 new amplifiers to the POWERBOX family
This is our Pro range, these amps are multi-function monoblock amplifiers, putting out massive power at full range output; meaning they can be used for Highs, Mids or Subs!
This amplifier technology is known as “Full Bridge” technology as opposed to the “Half Bridge” commonly found in monoblock amplifiers of this power. This full bridge technology allows for the amplifiers to be much smaller in footprint due to the way the rail voltage is used, they are much more efficient at using the input voltage on the rails thus needing less components to produce the output required. This technology was created a number of years ago in Japan and was recently adopted by the Brazilian audio scene for their massive PA rigs and bass systems
For this range of Full Bridge amplifiers our R&D Team worked very closely with our factory and one of the best amplifier engineers in the world, who is based right here in the UK, to design a new PCB for our version of this technology to out-perform the competition
