OUR STORY
MIDBASS has grown from strength to strength over the years. From our humble beginnings to our present day market leading position, “Bass… the life and rhythm in all music, without it you’re only hearing half the song…” Words written by our founder and owner some 25 years ago and words we still stand by and instill into every product we sell today. Music has an intrinsic grace that touches the human soul, it is the language of our passions and feelings. To truly listen to the sounds that move us most we have to hear them as they were truly intended, with every detail intact. The greatest music demands the greatest car audio equipment. Midbass was founded in 1993 producing UK built bass enclosures under the now world famous VIBE Brand.
1993 -
1994
Produced the worlds 1st alloy spun Turbo Port.
1994 -
2001
Midbass moved to a new puprose built 60,000sqft HQ.
2001 -
2002
Began exporting worldwide.
2002 -
2004
The launch of the record breaking and earth shaking VIBE Bass Tunnel, the largest Car Audio system in the world.

Midbass introduce EDGE Car Audio as a new brand concept for the mass market.

Midbass introduce Ground Zero to the UK.

Audiotec Fischer products made in Germany join the distribution channel, Brax, Helix and Match.

Awarded Loudest vehicle in Europe. The VIBE Volkswagen Transporter T5 at EMMA Eurofinals, Salzburg, Austria.
